Cleansing Cilantro

Cilantro is a powerhouse in more ways than in your guacamole.


Have you ever considered one of those detox tea regimens but weren't quite sure if they were right for you? Well, there are many ways to help the body detoxify, at some level, that are not as intense, offer additional benefits, and don't require a complete takeover of the bathroom at the office.


Cilantro is an antibacterial and antiviral herb that is known for its ability to rid the body of heavy metals. It is also recognized as a liver detoxifier. Consuming cilantro may also assist better health by supporting the adrenals, lowering blood sugar levels, and fending off brain fog and memory issues.


It can be easier to be consistent with improving our health by making small changes over time, instead of radical moves that we may not be able to keep up with over the long haul. Keep it simple by just including this power herb in your diet.


Here are some tasty and easy ways to add cilantro to your diet:

* Add to your smoothie or green juice

* Make sofrito, chimichurri, or pesto sauce

* Include in a salad of mixed greens

* Stuff in a veggie wrap with hummus

* Eat more guacamole! Enjoy!
