In just 12 hours, or less, many of us are back in the office responding to an onslaught of emails, on long-winded Zoom calls (that could have been an email )š¤·š¾āāļø, and doing our best to stay ahead of the work that does not seem to let up.
Some of us are packing lunches and getting clothes ready for kids in summer camp. Caregivers may just be getting a break from caring for their loved ones and are trying to do at least one thing for themselves before the day ends. šš½
Whatever it is, can any of it wait until tomorrow? We have all said at one time or another, "but I just want to get finished!" News flash: We are never finished. There is always something to be done.
Sleep deprivation is a real thing. Over time it can cause weight gain, mood swings, a compromised immune system, memory issues, and more. Sleep is as important as diet and exercise and will help support the body in how it functions.
Any night owls out there? šš¾āāļø I completely understand. I get a second wind at night and it's all good until that alarm goes off in the morning! š„±
Let's start now to wrap up all the projects that didn't get done this weekend. Turn the lights down. Move from the living room to the bedroom. Do some restorative yoga. Put on soothing music. Have a cup of lemon balm tea. Get ready to feel refreshed in the morning. š¤øš½āāļø
